Maurice X. Alvarez swears he's from outer space, but he was really born and raised in New York City. He began writing fiction at an early age, turning events from his daily life into stories on the page. A fascination with science and technology eventually pulled his reading — and writing — into science fiction and fantasy.

He writes character-driven adventures that span time and space and push at the boundaries of sci-fi and fantasy, with a little romance thrown in to keep things spicy.

When Maurice isn't writing, he's cruising around on his bicycle or tinkering with DIY projects around the house.
